Our next meeting is going to be something a bit different. This time we are going to focus on partners and families.<\/h2>\n

A well-known audiologist, Mark Ross, was fond of saying:<\/h2>\n

\u201cWhen one person in a family has a hearing loss,<\/em><\/span>
\nthe whole family has a hearing loss.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

Come join us as we talk about how hearing loss affects
\nnot only ourselves, but also our loved ones.
\nBring your partner\/spouse and adult children.<\/h2>\n

Three or four brave couples will start us off-
\ntalking about the frustrations, the triumphs,
\nhow we manage and cope with the issues that arise,
\nand we dare say it – the funnies?<\/h2>\n

What will happen? Who knows except for sure we will learn none of us are alone and all of have a chance to share and learn.<\/h2>\n

This will NOT be a time for \u201cI told you so,\u201d
\nnor a time to blame or to shame.
\nRather we will strive for gentle talking, for sharing, for supporting,\u00a0 and for recognizing those who journey with us.<\/h2>\n
