Patient to Professional: Dr. Hu shares personal and professional stories from her deaf/hard of hearing journey and the lessons she’s learned along the way. As a pediatric audiologist who is hard of hearing herself, she has a unique ability to understand, relate and support her patients, families and communities. She talks about the challenges presented to her as a child and to her family, honoring that each person is on their own journey, even with the same family. Utilizing different mindset shifts to build resilience and making the best of what life offers, with the tools that she had.
